About the Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center

The Rollins College Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center was established to assist philanthropic organizations in fulfilling their missions. In its brief seven-year history, the Philanthropy Center has served more than 25,500 nonprofit professionals and donors in Central Florida and throughout the state, providing educational programming, networking opportunities, consulting services and research to help increase the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations and enhance the professional experience of the dedicated people whom they employ.

The Philanthropy Center is a program of Rollins College Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business. Founded in 1885, Rollins College has earned a national reputation for academic excellence both at the graduate and undergraduate level. In 2006, Rollins placed first among regional colleges and universities in the South in the U.S. News & World Report annual ranking of “America’s Best Colleges.” Most recently, the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business was ranked 12th among regional MBA programs in the United States and first in Florida by Forbes magazine.

The Philanthropy Center’s certificate programs for nonprofit managers, staff and volunteers and its courses in board development and nonprofit governance are taught in the Bush Executive Center on the Rollins campus. Its offices are located at 200 E. New England Avenue in downtown Winter Park.
