The Foundation Center Cooperating Collection at the Philanthropy Center


The Philanthropy Center applied to and has been accepted by the Foundation Center to become a Cooperating Collection. By becoming a Cooperating Collection, the Philanthropy Center will be able to offer more services to nonprofits and individuals who wish to research funding opportunities. The expanded resources include:

  • Foundation Grants to Individuals Online
  • National Directory of Corporate Giving
  • National Guide to funding in Health
  • Guide to Grantseeking on the Web

A highly focused collection of resource materials in nonprofit management, fundraising and philanthropy is housed in its own study space in the Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Center and available to the public during regular business hours. Members can access the searchable databases to find funders quickly using The Foundation Directory Online and GuideStar Premium to access the full power of GuideStar.org.
